THE CORE POSITION OF HUMAN RESOURCES AT EDF FENICE

Full use of all company resources in order to preserve and improve market positioning is becoming an ever more important strategic factor in the highly competitive context in which EDF Fenice operates.

As custodians of the distinctive know-how of our business, to which they contribute values and energy, human resources are one of the company’s most strategic assets.

At EDF Fenice, human resources find fertile ground for development of technical and managerial skills, for professional growth in an environment in which an interfunctional approach, teamwork and individual responsibility are decisive factors of development in achieving ambitious goals.

TRAINING TO PROMOTE PROFESSIONAL GROWTH

The empowerment of company human resources is based on a well-balanced mix of training and valorisation of experience, able to promote the acquisition of competencies, ready to be re-employed in measuring up to new company challenges. Training and multi-disciplinary career paths promote cross-functional development and evolution of “classical” professional figures, guaranteeing that they are able to gear ever more effectively to the challenges of change.

TRAINING PERIODS AT THE COMPANY

EDF Fenice's HR policy envisages selected access of young people who choose the training period formula to acquire their first significant experience in a fast-developing and above all multi-disciplinary sector.
Through the University institutes and Higher Training Centres with which it is in contact, EDF Fenice offers young graduates or university students the possibility of approaching the world of work with a stimulating training experience carried out in a spirit of personal and professional enhancement.

PROMOTING TALENT

We are convinced that empowerment of human resources means, first and foremost, laying solid basis for company growth. Each human assets management process is preceded by training and assignment of responsibilities, with the aim of offering each person the possibility of expressing his/her potential in the best way possible, inserting them in positions aligned with their professional skills.

However, any process of this type loses its effectiveness if not supported by adequate feedback regarding assessment of the level of satisfaction of company employees.

Today, EDF Fenice invests in its human assets, systematically dedicating resources and attention to monitoring their level of motivation with employee satisfaction surveys, as they constitute the underpinnings of company development.
