Physical agents
The “Assessment of physical agents” area of the Environmental Services Centre (ESC) is structured to record and analyse physical agents such as noise, vibrations, micro-climate, lighting and non-ionising radiations at the workplace and within the framework of major public works.
All the activities are directed towards providing private companies or public bodies with assistance in complying with all the legal formalities established by current regulations.
The ESC is equipped with specialised personnel, qualified as “Technician competent in environmental acoustics”, and specifically trained in the main factors to be assessed, with the aid of state-of-the-art recording instruments including seven mobile phonometric control units, fully equipped for in-field analyses.
