Technical legal assistance
Technical legal assistance is a cross-sector requirement of all production and service activities, both on the public and private market. The specific environment and energy laws to be applied in the main regulatory contexts (Community, national, regional, provincial and municipal) in order to integrate companies or organisations in the main local normative frameworks in which they operate, are both complex and of extensive scope.
Through its own legal staff, the EDF Fenice Environmental Services Centre (ESC) provides organisations, institutions, production plants and service companies with complete, competent legal assistance that includes:
- Consulting regarding regulations in all the specific area contexts
- Legal updates, providing regular information regarding the issue of new environment legislation and on changes to that already in force
- Legal assistance in drafting environment-related deeds (contracts, orders, tenders, etc.) or in examining third party contractual proposals
- Documentary support in preparing legal-administrative documents and related attachments (also in the case of penal, civil and administrative disputes, providing external law firms or consultants with support)
- In-field and on-line assistance in solving urgent problems deriving from particular prescriptions, legally-binding or incidental situations and those which involve direct confrontation with the controlling authority or checking of administrative compliance with current legislation.
- Legal-administrative training on Ecology and Environment issues (also addressing the operators of companies or entities whose activity is organised within the framework of Environment Management Systems)
